Any time you snag 3 place over all with a team of only 10 you have plenty to be proud of! Congratulations to our Girls Team 4×800 team for their 1st place finish! Morgan Remley did a great job stepping in to help the relay continue to dominate.
Sarah Ferguson & Lamiah Campbell earned another 1st place medal in the pole vault and open 800, respectively. Campbell’s win was also done with a Lafayette School Record setting time of 2:21.79!
Besides Olivia Cahill’s Leg on the winning 4×800, she had top 3 finishes in the 1600 and the 3200. Victoria Holliday also put in some serious work today after doing her part on the 4×800 by taking 2nd in both the 1600 and 800!
Rosa Smith took 4th in the open 200 and scored in the open 100. KaLynn Paris got in on the action by scoring a 5th place finish in the open 400 and she scored in the 100.

For the guys: Will Cahill put on a show today! He grabbed a 1st and 2nd place finish in the 3200 and 1600, respectively. Our only other top 3 finisher on the guys side today was freshman Javon Adams in the Triple Jump competition. He also scored in the High Jump. Eli Locker and Hunter Smallwood scored with PRs in the Shot Put and Discus. Eli broke 40 ft in the Shot Put and came in 4th, while Hunter threw the discus 107ft-8in coming in 7th.

What a great display of teamwork, strength, and grit on a cool and very windy day, after a four hour bus trip.

Go Generals!
