Congratulations to the Lafayette Boy’s and Girl’s Cross Country teams for winning the City yet again. Extra special shot out to the Girl’s team who completely swept the competition placing an athlete in every spot on the top 5. The charge was led by Anaya Brown, Victoria Holliday, Meredith Wilson, Morgan Remley, & Claire Polston. Very impressive ladies! On the boys side it was Will Cahill, Aidan Smith, Demetrius Cherry, Will Spangler, & David Schneider bringing in the points that brought home a victory. Both teams have been dominate forces for years and I love it! Wish I could have been there to see it in person! Always great to see our kiddos excelling in other places off the track, whether it’s in the band, on the soccer field, in the classroom, at work, volunteering in the community. I salute you! Stay involved, stay active in and out of season. All the best to our Cross Country team as they gear up to take both first place spots at the KTCCCA Meet of Champions on 10/19 and the Region 6 Championship on 10/26 too!
